Finalizing Cost Centers of our different plants-ERP Implementation

We are about to finalize Cost Centers of our different plants. Before finalization, I have a few words to share as follows:

  1. In HR Org for KGF-2, I have seen all Cost Centers have been taken as we have in KGF-1. (Is it OK?)
  2. In Herbal Facility, I have seen no Cost Centers--> Do you have have any knowledge of its Production Process (Activities/Operations etc.)?
  3. In Oncology Facility, I have seen no Cost Centers--> Do you have have any knowledge of its Production Process (Activities/Operations etc.)?
  4. I have not seen API Process Plant anywhere, did we capture it?
  5. Do you have any knowledge of API Process Plant's Production Process (Activities/Operations etc.)?

Please reply to this mail formally and send us the General Data Master of KGF-2, Herbal etc (if you have). We will give you the general data master of KGF-2 and Oncology plant very soon, still we are working on.
About Herbal I dont have any idea and I am not the authorized person to give any information regarding herbal plant. Since you are sole member of the costing team, please review the manual sent by KPMG and revert back to us with any observations/ suggestions at the earliest. .

Material Loan Register Report under ERP Systems

Hope you are doing well. Please can you say, the status of “Material Loan Register Report” which is very much important for Warehouse and Quality Control Department.

Sorry for being late in reply! Anyway, So far as I have seen the attached, I could not understand as to how Direct Labors will be captured in HR part; I have little bit confusion in the Cost Accumulation Point under different plants.

So, I request you a session for the light of clarity and for my own understanding once again. Could you plz. arrange it in the presence of HR Users.

Let us have a discussion on this once KPMG is onsite (sometime day after tomorrow or later) as it will help us all to sort things quickly from accounting perspective..I'll update you with the schedule post discussion with the team

Can we reschedule the meeting for tomorrow ? Also for the meeting I would request you, Supply Chain, Production to join the meeting tomorrow. If we face unavailability of any person please let me know if advance by replying this mail.

This discussion will be an important for upcoming activities of Data Migration and Cut-over Strategy.

Capturing the Standard Cost of Ingredients or Bill of Materials

This template is with reference to point no 4 ( Capturing the Standard Cost of Ingredients) from the meeting summary.

As discussed we will need to migrate the standard cost of the ingredients as a part of open transactions migration before the Go Live of ERP Systems, hence this additional sheet.

We will also need the standard cost of ingredients we wish to test in the UAT [User Acceptance Testing]

Can you please confirm which department shall provide the data for the attached template? Will it be Finance or Operation Services Department?

One thing looks critical, that is the old OPM Costing template got changes once again! You have added one more sheet ITEM_COST-DETAIL with the new one.

Please read the message from KPMG below and find the first version for data migration strategy as an attachment to this email for review. If you have any observation, please let the IT department/ KPMG team know.

Please find attached initial draft version of data migration strategy document. This document would undergo changes post our meeting on 2nd Jan 2013
